Spanish Society of Laboratory Medicine

Management Council

The Spanish Society of Laboratory Medicine (SEQCML) is governed by statutes approved in its General Assembly, and is organized according to an internal structure approved by the Board of Directors.

To achieve its objectives, and according to the twenty-sixth article of its statutes, there are commissions that are grouped together into committees coordinated by the Management Council, which is composed of the members of the Board of Directors and the presidents of the Congress Committee, Communication Committee, Education Committee, External Quality Assurance Programs Committee, Scientific Committee, Clinical Laboratory Value Committee, and the SEQCML representatives in other agencies such as the European Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (EFLM).

The Management Council meets at least four times per year. A diagram of the functional structure of the Society can be seen in the attached file.
